Boone County Fair Pull Big Success
The annual Ohio River Valley Pull at the Boone County Fair in Burlington didn't dissapoint this past weekend as many competitors and fans came out to take part in the event despite the few light rain showers in the area. The first class was the largest class in attendance, the 3800lb. Pro Stock Mini Trucks with 21 trucks making the call. Eldon Wolffe took his first win of the season in "Let it Roll" in a 4 way pulloff between Mike Henderson, newcomer Billy Shipley and Boonie Baker. Next class up was the Limited Light Super Stock Tractors putting on a great show as always. Chris Eades and the "American Beauty" earned the teams 2nd 2010 season victory after making a great pass early in the class. The Stock II 4wd class was a different story, however, with the winner being last to hook... Brandon Fisher in the "Polebarn Bandit" took his second victory of the season. The Super Stock 2wd category was won by Mark Perry and his "Red Rooster" Ford Ranger who was in the middle of the class and made a strong pass to capture his second victory of the season. The last class of the night was the Super Farm Tractors, won by a typically unusual brand to the Super Farm category. The "Cool Blue" Limited Pro New Holland running at 8500lb. against 9300lb. Super Farm Tractors made a very impressive pass to take the win. As the busy part of the season winds down, watch for pullers to have thier machines on kill towards the end of the season to keep or improve thier points postions!
Videos have been added from Burlington and points have been updated through Williamstown... The schedule has also been updated including the scheduled classes for the fall pull in Shelbyville.
